As president of the Jasper Foundation, I want to impress upon everyone the importance of continued growth of the permanent endowment funds in the Foundation. This will help us reach our goal of being self-sustaining for the future. Sustaining Resource Development, a new program of Lilly Endowment, is designed to address this very issue. It is my hope that the Jasper Foundation can be one of the Foundations that will achieve this on a regular basis.
