The Newton County Community Foundation

The president of the Newton County Community foundation welcomes you!

The Newton County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the Jasper Foundation. The Jasper Foundation provides administrative support and investment service for the Newton County funds.

The Newton County Community Foundation was established to serve the residents of Newton County, Indiana. The Foundation will serve those donors who wish to help support local worthwhile community organizations.

The Foundation is a collection of individual funds and resources given by local citizens to enhance the quality of life in their community. It allows many individuals, through gifts and bequests of all sizes, to establish permanent endowment funds within one large Foundation. In other words, it allows anyone to become a philanthropist. The earnings from these separate funds will help the community respond to emerging problems and opportunities, as well as prepare for its future.

A Board of Directors consisting of fourteen residents geographically represents Newton County and the broad interests of the community. It functions primarily as a grantmaking organization supporting a broad range of charitable activities that creatively address changing community needs in such fields as education, arts and culture, health, human services, community development, and other civic endeavors.
